Appeal following supermarket theft with alleged knife

We are appealing for information after a man stole items from a supermarket in Cannock.

The man entered the store on Voyager Drive at around 5.25pm on 28 March.

After filling a bag with a number of items, he was approached by staff who he then told he was in possession of a knife.

The man is described as white, of a medium to stocky build, wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and a green jacket along with a black baseball cap.

We have conducted inquiries locally and are releasing an image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with the theft.
